Description
The Forest Service contemplates making multiple awards for an Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery multi-discipline construction, repair, and remodel contract. Proposals to include project scoping, cost estimating, and development of Job Order specific specifications/requirements. Contractors responding should be prepared to provide for all labor, material, supplies, transportation, supervision and all other necessary items for complete and usable projects, performing all work in complete compliance with all plans, drawings, and specifications issued. Common trades that may be needed include carpentry, plumbing, electrical, laborers, power equipment operators, cement workers, painters, and other trades common to the construction industry. Contractors will be required to perform multi-discipline construction, repair, and remodeling work using these trade workers. Work may be performed in the following communities: Ketchikan, Thorne Bay, Craig, Wrangell, Petersburg, Sitka, Hoonah, Yakutat, and Juneau. Contract time will be 730 days. Contract amount is minimum $10,000 not to exceed $1,000,000. A pre-bid conference will be conducted at the Ketchikan Federal Building. Specifics for the meeting will be announced in the solicitation. Participation by telephone conference will be available. The solicitation will be posted to the FedBizOpps Website on or about April 10, 2007 for viewing and printing. Potential offerors are requested to obtain the solicitation from the Internet if at all possible. Alternatively, a hard copy of the solicitation documents may be requested via fax at 907.228.6254. Fax requests should reference solicitation AG-0116-S-07-0015. Telephone requests will not be honored. Offers will be due approximately 30 calendar days after the solicitation issue date. AUTOMATIC NOTIFICATION: By registering to receive notification on posted synopses, you will be automatically notified via email of any changes to the project. To register, select Register to Receive Notification and follow the steps. Follow the same procedure for EACH project. PLAN HOLDERS LISTS: The Interested Vendors List (IVL) has replaced the plan Holders Lists that was previously available with solicitation packages. Access the IVL for all projects through the FedBizOpps website. To register as an interested vendor, select Register as an Interested Vendor and follow the steps. Follow this procedure for EACH project of interest. Use the Register as Interested Vendor option to add your company name to the IVL and then view or print the IVL by selecting View List of Interested Vendors for each project. In order to receive any contract award, Vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA). To register your firm in the CCR system, go to: http://www.ccr.gov or by calling 1-888-227-2423 or 269-961-5757. To register your firm in the ORCA system, go to: http://www.bpn.gov.
