- Description
- The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) has a requirement for Contractor provided Janitorial/Custodial Services at its LEASED United States Capitol Police (USCP) Fairchild Building located in Washington, DC. The Contractor shall provide all labor, management, equipment, personnel, tools, and supplies as necessary to perform the Janitorial/Custodial services for the facility. The LEASED facility is a 24-hour /7-day operation, and has five (5) floors with approximately 115,000 Square Feet (SF) of total leased space with 96,000 SF of office space to be cleaned. The Contractor shall perform the required cleaning services during the hours 0730 AM - 400 PM, Monday - Friday and 0800 AM - 1200 PM, Saturday/Sundays, and Federal Government Holidays. The North American Classification System (NAICS) is 561720. Source Selection procedures will be used to select the proposal that provides the Lowest Technically Acceptable Price/Offer to the Government. The resultant contract will be for a period of 12 months with 4 one year optional periods. The offeror?s proposal shall contain a detailed response to each of the following solicitation evaluation factor(s) which will be evaluated to determine whether they are responsive to the requirements of the RFP and technically acceptable. Technical criteria listed below is in descending order of importance: (1) Technical Approach, Management Approach, (3) Key Personnel Qualifications, (4) Corporate Experience - (General Contractor/Major Subcontractors), (5) Past Performance, and (6) Quality Control Procedures. All offerors are required to provide ?firm-fixed? pricing for the base year as well as all optional year periods. The ESTIMATED DATE for release of the solicitation documents is on or about 16 APRIL 2007 with the closing date approximately 30-days thereafter.
