- Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC hereby gives notice of intent to award a sole source requirement to Sparta Inc. under authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The requirement is to provide (2) Trireme Portable Collection Systems and support for Marine Forces Special Operations Command, Camp Lejeune NC. Interested firms must submit information that indicates their ability to satisfy this requirement. Responses are due by 4:00 PM EST, 30 Ma rch 2007, via facsimile or email.
