- NOTICE OF INTENT: Contact: Ron Kennedy, Code 027RK, Telephone (843) 218-5820; Fax (843) 218-5963; Contracting Officer, Paula S. Somers, Telephone (843) 218-5976; Fax (843) 218-5963 Description: Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Charleston intends to negotiate, on a sole-source basis, with Dryomatic, 7924 Reco Ave., Baton Rouge, LA 70814-2115 for the following items: This action is for the procurement of twelve (12) Environmental Control Units (ECU) to support the Legacy Mobile Electronic Warfare Support System. The Dryomatic model number for the ECU is SAC-H-7-S1-1. The ECU???s will be installed, as a part of system upgrades, in light armored vehicles. The following specifications must be met: - Capable of providing cooling capacity of 8500 British thermal units (BTU) at an ambient temperature of 120 degrees Fahrenheit. - Capable of being mounted into the hull of the light armored vehicle without any hull modifications. - Capable of operating on both 24 volts DC (blowers) and 115 volts AC (compressor). - Weight and size dimensions must be such as to be compatible with the current Legacy Mobile Electronic Warfare Support System. A Firm Fixed Price Procurement is anticipated. This Notice of Intent is NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The applicable NAICS Code is 333415 and FSC Code 4120 applies.
