- The FISC Norfolk Contracting Department Philadelphia Office intends to acquire Telecommunications Support Services for the Naval Support Activity, Crane, Indiana. This is a sole source action to Communications Products, Inc. (CPI). The telecommunication systems are comprised of both analog and digital networks as well as information management systems. Support includes technical support services, maintenance, installation, demolition or removal from installation, movement and relocation of networks (local area, wide area and point-to-point), and management support. These commercial services will be solicited in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS Code is 541513 and the Small Business Standard is $23.0 Million. Period of Performance is 1 April 2007 through 30 April 2007. The proposed firm fixed price contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all information received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Point of contact is C.
