- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Crane Division. NSWC Crane has a requirement for ten (10) RF Oscillators, Crane Aerospace & Electronics/STC Microwave Systems (CA&E/STC) part number 6139-6343-00 to be manufactured in accordance with Raytheon Source Control Drawing G254493. The Navy intends to award a firm fixed price, supply contract to CA&E/STC, 340 North Roosevelt Avenue, Chandler, AZ 85226, on a sole-source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements. Delivery is FOB Destination 180 days after contract award. Inspection and Acceptance will be at source by DCMA. The design and drawings for the oscillator are owned by CA&E/STC and the Government does not own a complete technical package or documentation necessary for full and open competition. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by t he government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation will be available on or about 10 April 2007 at the following address: http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/homepage.htm. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to the solicitation. ?No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed?. Submitting a bid from the NECO website by clicking on ?Submit Bid? does not guarantee offers will be received by the proper person in the correct format. It is the responsibility of the offeror to download the RFP and to submit offers to the POC at NSWC Crane.
