Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.603, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Proposal, no. N9450070067. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15. The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopisi/solicitation, to the contractor providing the best value to the Government. All responsible small, minority, and women owned business concerns may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the NPS. NAICS code: 327310; small business size standard: 500 employees. CLIN 0001: Provide (NTE 450 CY) pumpable ready-mixed (CDF) per WSDOT Specification Section 2-09.3(1)E. Delivery shall be to the Kautz Creek Area on the Nisqually to Paradise road located 3 miles inside the park westside boundary. Kautz Creek is accessable from the Nisqually Entrance which is located at the end of HWY 706. This project is estimated to be a two day pour. Estimated first delivery date is April 16, 2007. NPS will provide a pumper truck and the CDF will be placed by NPS personnel. Proposals are due at Mount Rainier National Park, 55210 238th Avenue East, Ashford, WA 98304-9751 no later than 11:00 AM, Pacific Daylight Time, April 3, 2007.
