Description
The Army Contracting Agency, Northern Region; Dugway Proving Ground (DPG), Utah Directorate of Contracting (hereinafter referred to as the Government) is seeking comments on a DRAFT Request for Proposal for a Installation Support Services (ISSC) requ irement to be performed at DPG. The following areas are essential to support the requirements at U. S. Army DPG: (1) Facilities Engineering Services, (2) Engineering Resource Management, (3) Operation and Maintenance of Utilities Systems, (4) Maintenance of Roads and Structures, (5) Grounds Maintenance, (6) Logistical Support, and (7) Family Housing Operations. The scope of effort involves supporting the U.S. Army DPG, Utah installation. The support involves a comprehensive public works services contract , directly in support of the Directorate of Installation Support (DIS). This contract provides technical and professional trade crafts for maintenance, repair, operation and/or alteration of real property facilities in support of the mission. It is the C ontracting Offices intent to issue a competitive 8 (a) set-aside, Fixed Price, Incentive Fee solicitation (W911S6-07-R-0003) for this requirement. The applicable NAICS code is 561210 ($32.5 M). The proposed solicitation is planned to be for one (1) base year and nine (9) option periods (12-months each). Any information / comments provided to the Government is strictly voluntary and at no cost to the Government. The official solicitation will be announced separately. This announcement does not constitu te a Request for Proposal, or a request for competitive proposals, and it does not restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. COMMENT PROCEDURES: 1) Request an electronic copy of the DRAFT RFP and cost breakdown spreadsheet by sendin g an email request to Ricky J. Jaramillo, Contract Specialist at ricky.jaramillo@us.army.mil . The following information should be included in the email request: a) full name and title of the requestor; b) company name; c) phone number; and d) email addr ess. Please state the following in the subject line: RE: DRAFT W911S6-07-R-0003 REQUEST. 2) All comments shall be provided in writing and electronically submitted as a Microsoft Word attachment to the following email address: ricky.jaramillo@us.army.m il. 3) Any comments addressing a specific item in the draft RFP shall reference the section and applicable paragraph number. 4) Any comments not addressing a specific item in the draft RFP shall be marked as GENERAL. 6) In order to conform to established milestone dates, all comments regarding the draft RFP shall be submitted no later than 5:00 PM MST on 23 APRIL 2007.
