- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR 12.603 and supplemented with information included in this notice. This announcement is the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes are being requested. This requirement, number FA8751-07-Q-0218, is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-16 and Defense DCN 20070212. This RFQ is 100% small business set aside with a size standard of $23.0 million. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 7030. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7379. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541512. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract in accordance with Simplified Acquisition Procedures as a result of this RFQ. Additional testing for other software and maintenance would take one (1) year which would cause for depletion of various government resources."
