Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs is issuing this Sources Sought Notice to determine the interests and capabilities of HubZone firms with regard to an upcoming acquisition for construction services at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL. The firm must be a General Construction company with an approved NAICS Code 237990 and a bonding capacity of approximately $20 million. The contractor shall provide and install improvements, extensions, and expansions at the South Florida VA National Cemetery. Including but not limited to: excavations, precision grading, drainage systems, utility systems, structures, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, site work, paving, concrete, installation of precast concrete crypts, columbaria, landscaping, environmental compliance, and coordination with on-going Cemetery operations. The estimated cost for this project is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. HubZone firms having the skills and capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirements are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought. Responses must include the following information: 1. Company name, address, point of contact with phone number and e-mail address. 2. Business size determination and qualifying small business status. 3. Bonding capacity. 4. Construction experience of similar projects in size and scope. 5. RFI announcement number. E-mail your responses to the Contracting Officer, Candace Wood, at candace.wood@va.gov no later than April 6, 2007. At this time no solicitation exists, therefore, DO NOT REQUEST A SOLICITATION package.
