- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Applied Biosystems, North American Sales and Service, 850 Lincoln Centre Drive, Foster City, CA 94404 for continued maintenance on thirty-eight (38) different 7000 Sequence Detection Systems which are located in Department of Health offices and other locations in different cities on the US mainland. Locations are: Jamaica Plain, MA; Decatur, GA; Miami, FL; Los Angeles, CA; Houston, TX; Lansing, MI; Reynoldsburg, OH; Lionville, PA; Richmond, CA; San Diego, CA; Shoreline, WA; Phoenix, AZ; Tampa, FL; St. Paul, MN; Jefferson, MO; Denver, CO; Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; and New York, NY. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2. Only one responsible source and no other sources will satisfy agency requirements. No solicitation is being issued.
