- This is for informational purposes only. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) NCHS intends to solicit and negotiate, on a sole source basis, a purchase order to AT&T Federal Systems, Phoenix AZ. The purchase order is for the purpose of providing a renewal for one year of monthly telephone services. Services is for dataphone digital service including administrative expenses fees for DCS lines and universal connectivity charges for DCS for circuit number DSEP 1 16396. To the best of the Government's knowledge, AT&T is the sole source vendor for the Washington-Metropolitan area in which Hyattsville Maryland is covered under its jurisdiction. The authority for this sole source is FAR 6-302-1 (a)(2) - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 517110. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. However, firms that believe they can provide the services need to submit written notification of interest and capability to the Contracting Specialist within 15 days from the publication date of this notice. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information furnished shall include enough detail information to allow the government to perform a proper evaluation. Respondents will not be notified of the evaluation results. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
