- Description
- The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Region 5 will issue a solicitation for emergency, time-critical removal and cleanup services. The contractor will provide the necessary cleanup equipment, personnel, material and other resources to support response and site assessment activities related to the release or threat of release of oil, petroleum products, hazardous substances, weapons of mass destruction or pollutants and contaminants that pose an actual or potential threat to human health or welfare, or to the environment. It is the Government's intent to award one other than full and open competition to a service disabled veteran owned small business (SDVOSB). The resultant contract is anticipated to be time-and-material, fixed-rate, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity. The period of performance will be three (3) base years with two (2) award terms of two (2) years each for a maximum of seven (7) years. The estimated maximum potential value for each contract is $105 million. ERRS 3 services are to be provided primarily within Region 5 (Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin). This is not a request for submission of proposals. Request for Proposal (RFP) PR-R5-07-10015, will be set-aside for SDVOSB businesses only and will be posted in July of 2007. The anticipated award date is in February of 2008. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code for this procurement is 562910, with a size standard of 500 employees. The RFP, Statement of Work, solicitation amendments and other pertinent information related to this procurement will be posted on the EPA Office of Acquisition Management website, Region 5 ERRS 3 webpage: http://www.epa.gov/oam/regions/index.htm. It is recommended that each contractor subscribe to the vendor's notification service on the FedBizOpps website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov.
