- The Government is soliciting quotations for the turn key operation to remove, replace and dispose of spent carbon from an Air Pollution Control System (APCS) in two carbon beds. Capacity of each bed is 26,000 pounds for a total of 52,000 pounds of 100% Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC). Base Material to be 100% CC 601 Virgin Coconut Shell Carbon - Activated for air phase volatile organic compound control. GAC to be delivered FOB Destination to Marine Corps Logistics Base, Barstow, California. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS Code is 325998. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed price requirements contract with a base year and 4 option years to the quoter, whose quote is most advantageous to the Government.
