- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey, Patuxent Wildlife Research Center located in Laurel, Maryland has a requirement for the renovation of the Gabrielson Laboratory Building. The renovation is to address the egress life safety code requirements for doors to meet all current requirements of NFPA Code for safety routes of egress. The Gabrielson Building is three-story (including penthouse) with a basement, consisting of approx 61,000 sq. ft. Work is to be complete within 180 days of contract award date. The NAICS code is 236210-Industrial Building Construction. The magnitude of this project is estimated to be $25,000 - $100,000. Unrestricted competition is being sought for this requirement which is being procured under the Competitive Demonstration Program. A site visit date and time will be cited in the Request for Proposal. All interested contractors are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. See Section L4 of the solicitation for contact information. All responsible sources who have a valid Dun and Bradstreet number may submit a proposal. Request for Solicitation No. 07ERSS0075 will be available on the following website: www.ideassec.nbc.gov, no sooner than March 23, 2007. Proposals are due at 2:00 PM. EST on April 13, 2007.
