- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District, Wilmington Contracting Office is soliciting offers under Request for Quotation (RFQ) No. W912HN-07-T-0029 to haul, clean, and paint the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Survey Boat GILLETTE. The contr actor will be required to provide all plant, labor, materials, and equipment to perform the above services, including but not limited to, rudders, struts, bits, cleats, handrails, deck awning, masts, and transom guard and in accordance with the scope of wo rk provided in the solicitation. The GILLETTE is a 65 foot aluminum vessel. The Government will deliver the vessel to the contractors facility. The area of consideration is limited to facilities in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia. Due to s urvey scheduling, the vessel will not be available until approximately 1 July 2007 and all work shall be completed six weeks after award. This action will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and awarded under FAR Pa rt 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. RFQ No. W912HN-07-T-0029 will be available on or about 2 April 2007. Solicitation documents and specifications will only be available via the Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDs) system webpage at https://ww w.fedteds.gov. Interested parties must register as a Vendor with FedTeDs before accessing the system. In order to register as a Vendor in FedTeDs, offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) system (http://www.ccr.gov). Inte rested offerors can access the data for this solicitation through the hyperlink established in the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) system (http://www.fedbizopps.gov) announcement, which will redirect to the solicitation-specific data in FedTeDs . Registration for updates to specifications should be made on the FedBizOpps webpage for this solicitation. The FedTeDs system does not allow for offerors to perform a search for solicitation data. All searches can be performed through the FedBizOpps s ystem. Offers will be due on 2 May 2007 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time and shall be mailed or hand-carried to 69 Darlington Avenue, Wilmington, NC 28403, ATTN: Jenifer M. Bordelon prior to the date and time specified in the solicitation. Offerors a re responsible for printing paper copies of the solicitation. Hard copies will not be available. This procurement is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS Code is 336611 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. All contractors must be registered in the DODs Central Contract Register (CCR).
