- The US Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District, Bonneville Lock and Dam Project, intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) service contract to a contractor able to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials and training (except as specified herein as government furnished), vehicles, supervision, and other items necessary to pro vide armed security service at Bonneville Lock and Dam and Willamette Falls Locks and facilities as specified. Contractor personnel shall provide security services as specified by Post Orders supplied by the Contract Officer Representative (COR). These s ervices may include but are not limited to surveillance of additional areas, checking and verifying identification of persons entering Corps projects, inspections of vehicles and packages, building inspections, vehicle and foot patrols of areas and facilit ies, security gate operations, closure of areas to non-employees, monitoring of Corps-owned surveillance systems, and similar duties. The contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations. The performance period for this contract will be 1 May 2007 through 30 April 2008, as the base year, with four (4) additional option years. This solicitation is restricted to small business, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561612, with a small business standard size of $17 million. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The Solicitation Package (technical data package) will be available for download on or about 16 March 2007 through FedTeDs, www.fe dteds.gov, you must be registered in FedTeDs to download this solicitation. All responses to the RFQ will be due on 6 April 2007, by 4:00pm (PST). Responses received after that date and time will not be considered. Please be aware that facsimiles will n ot be accepted. Responses to the RFQ should include the company name, street address, city, state, country, zip code or postal code, POC, POC telephone, and e-mail address. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, they must be approved and registered in the Central Contractor Registration, at website www.ccr.gov, before award can be made.
