- Description
- The Naval Research Laboratory has a requirement for tasks in the following areas: maintenance, coordination and operational support of Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) missile simulators, flight support for simulators to include all aspects of fielding our assets on aircraft, and the test and evaluation of antennas and microwave systems and devices as well as supporting testing on Electronic Warfare Systems (EWS) and decoys. The government anticipates award of a cost plus fixed fee term type contract. The anticipated period of performance is for 12 months with four (4) 12-month option periods, if exercised. The contractor shall provide, on a level-of-effort basis, 19,800 hours for the basic award , and 19,800 for each option, if exercised. The incumbent contractor was Eagle Systems Incorporated, 22560 Epic Drive, California, MD 20619 on NRL Contract N00173-02-C-2023. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. It is anticipated that only one award will result from this procurement. NRL uses Electronic Commerce (EC) to issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and amendments to RFPs. Paper copies of the RFP will not be provided. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency.
