- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City (NSWC PC) intends to issue a modification to contract N61331-06-C-0055 for the modification of Control and Alarm Monitoring Systems (CAMS) for the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC). The modification provides for the reconfiguration of CAMS to MIL-STD-1553 to perform upgrades on previously fielded units. AP Labs, Inc. is the sole developer and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the CAMS units. They posses proprietary hardware and software and are the only source that can provide the subject modifications without a substantial duplication of costs and schedule delays.
