Description

This Sources Sought Notice/ Synopsis is for information and planning purposes only. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. No contract will be awarded as a result of this Sources Sought Notice. The US Army Contracting Agency, Co ntracting Center of Excellence (CCE), Pentagon, on behalf of the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense/Reserve Affairs (ASD/RA), intends to procure National Guard and Reserve Equipment Report (NGRER) from potential qualified small businesses. This p rocurement is for the services Congressional reporting requirements each to produce the National Guard and Reserve Equipment Report (NGRER). The report describes the individual equipment readiness of each Military Service and the United States Coast Guard in the support of the National Military Strategy (NMS) as defined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The PWS can be accessed sites indicated below. Interested small businesses that are certified and qualified as a small business concern in NAICS cod e 541990 with a size standard of $6,500,000.00 are encouraged to submit their capability packages outlining their experience in the following key areas 1)Technical Capabilities, 2) Relevant Experience, and 3) Key Personnel. If at least two responsible sma ll business concerns are determined by the Government to be capable of performing this requirement at a fair market price based on an evaluation of the capability packages submitted by 1:00PM (EST) on 23 MAR 2007, the requirement will be solicited as a 100 % set-aside for small business concerns. If capability packages are not received from at least two responsible small business concerns by the response date or if the Government determines that no small businesses are capable of performing this requirement based upon an evaluation of the capability packages submitted, this requirement will be solicited under full and open competition procedures. To assist us in maintaining a list of interested small businesses for this potential procurement, please provide your companys name, point of contact, address, phone number, and business size under the above NAICS code to the POC for this procurement. A Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract is anticipated. The Period of Performance (POP) will be a Twelve (12) month B ase Period plus Four (4) One (1) year Option periods. The place of performance will be at a contractor provided site and the Pentagon. A written Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on or about 27 MAR 2007 for download at the sites indicated below. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. All Amendments to the solicitation will likewise be posted to the CCE Homepage. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be complied. Con tractors are responsible for all costs for producing and mailing their proposal.
