Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) numbered W91ZLK-07-T-0337. This solicitation document and the incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2 005-15. Directorate of Installation Operations (DIO) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD (APG) has a requirement for Maintenance and Repair on (2) shears and (1) LVD press brake. The performance period for this award begins on the date of award and ends one year later for the base year. This contract also incorporates two (2) option years. Interested offerors shall provide pricing for the base year and both option years. A proposal for a material mark-up percentage (%) shall also be included as part of you r quote (last line item-including option years). Award will be based on the lowest price technically acceptable. Pricing shall include overhead, profit, labor, materials and transportation to perform the work in accordance with all federal, state and loc al governing agencies rules and regulations pertaining to this type of work. Services to be performed under this contract are listed below as line items and in detail under the Scope of Work. Machinery is located in both the Aberdeen and Edgewood Maryla nd areas. Line-Item Description Quantity Unit Price Total BASE YEAR 0001 Remove the Bar, Turn the Bar if sharp 2 EA shim as necessary. Perform annual maintenance as per the manufacturer's recommended procedures. BASE YEAR 0002 Sharpen the bar and shim as necessary. 2 EA BASE YEAR 0003 Perform Maintenance on the LVD Press 1 EA as per the manufacturer's recommended procedures. BASE YEAR 0004 This contract includes time & materials Items not included in the previous line items with a NTE value of $1,415.00. Proposal of material mark-up percentage % is requested. OPTION YEAR 2 2004 This contract includes time & material Items not included in the previous line items with a NTE value of $1,415.00. Proposal of material mark-up percentage % is requested. SCOPE OF WORK 1. Provide labor and material to remove the cutting bar from Cincinnati Shear 2CC10 Shear,capacity 1/4 inch mild steel, serial# 47531. Machine is located in building 347 Aberdeen Area. a. Inspect the bar for sharpness, turn bar and shim if sharp on other side. b. Sharpen if necessary. c. Install the bar as per the manufacturers recommended procedures and shim as necessary. d. Perform other maintenance as per the manufacturer's recommended procedures; such as oil, grease, etc. 2. Provide labor and material to remove the cutting bar from Cinc innati Shear 49648, 250HSX 10 Foot. Machine is located in Building E-5185 Edgewood Area. a. Inspect the bar for sharpness, turn bar and shim if sharp on other side. b. Sharpen if necessary. c. Install the bar as per the manufacturers recommended procedures and shim as necessary. d. Perform other maintenance as per the manufacturer's recommended procedures;such as oil, grease, etc. 3. Perform maintenance and repair to the LVD Press Brake Model 165BH10, Serial 13090. Machine is located in Building 347 Aberdeen Area. a. Brake will not go up or down. b. Perform general maintenance as recommended by the manufacturer. Interested Offerors shall provide pricing for all the items listed. Failure to provide the required information will result in a non-responsive offer, ineligible for award. Material replacements shall meet all EPA specification, and conform to material li stings. Current labels and Material Safety Data Sheets shall be provided with all materials replaced. This procurement is 100% set aside for Small businesses under NAICS 811310 with a size standard of $6.5M.
