Description
This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 6.302 Circumstances Permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition and 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1). Hurlburt Field intends to award a sole-source delivery order to Vaisala, Inc. for three hundred (300) each Radiosonde, 403MHz, PTU/ccGPS, model RS92-SGPW. This requirement is unrestricted, the NAICS is 334519 and the size standard is 500 employees. The radiosondes are required to support AFSOC Vaisala MW31 upper atmospheric sensing systems. The requested radiosondes are compatible with the MW31 system and utilized by AFSOC weather forces. Interested firms may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bonafide capability to fulfill the requirement to include compatibility with the MW31 system manufactured by Vaisala, Inc. A determination not to compete with this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. Award will not be made based on responses to this synopsis. Firms responding to this synopsis should reference the 1SOCONS001GP number and indicate their business size as defined by FAR 52.219. Inquiries concerning this synopsis must be in writing and faxed to (850) 884-5372. All inquiries relating to this delivery order should be made to POCs: Ms. Genise A. Pennant, Contract Specialist or Mr. Benjamin Stoeser, Contract Officer at (850) 884-3272/ (850) 884-1269 respectively. Numbered Note 22 applies with the following revision: "...all proposals received within 45 days... after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government...? *****The Hurlburt Field Contracting Office requires that all Contractors doing business with this Office be registered with the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) as of 20 April 2007.
