- This acquisition will be processed in accordance with AFMC FAR Sup 5317.7590 and AFMCI 23-102 Insurance Policy and AFMC FAR Sup 5352.217-9018 Mission Essential Quantity. This acquisition is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. If the low offeror is a proven source then there will not be an Insurance Policy MEQ contract. If the low offeror is an unproven source, then the Insurance Policy MEQ will be awarded to the proven source, Marvin Engineering Co./32067 (small business) and Authority U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), ?Supplies or services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements? will apply. A Requirements, ten (10) year contract (an 12 month basic period with two (2) 12 month MEQ option periods, one (1) 12 month Production option and 6(six) 12 month outyear options. The requirement will be solicited and awarded utilizing a combination of Past Performance, Price and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The anticipated issue date is 31 Mar 2007, closes 30 April 2007, and with an anticipated award date of 31 May 2007. The required delivery schedule is 270 days for the 1st article and 120 days ARO for production units. Transportation will be FOB origin, inspection/acceptance at origin with delivery to EY9310 Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Company.
