A firm fixed-price non-commercial contract is contemplated for the remanufacture of F101-GE-102 Main Engine Control. Item 0001: NOUN: F101 Main Engine Control, Input NSN 2915-01-248-9033JF, P/N: 8062-410 and/or 1270M87P08; and/or NSN: 2915-01-463-4606JF, P/N: 8062-496 and/or P/N: 1270M87P10; Output NSN 2915-01-463-4606JF, P/N: 8062-496 and/or 1270M87P10. Qty: 3 EA. Applicable to: F101-GE-102 Engine, B-1 Aircraft. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base OK 73145-3032. Description: This control is a fuel operated, bypassing type, electro-hydro mechanical Fuel flow regulator which operates 2 modes: Primary and Secondary. The control includes a speed governor, which senses engine core speed and adjusts the fuel flow, as necessary to maintain the desired core speed set by the throttle. Material Specification: Cast Aluminum Housing. Item dimension: The Main Engine Control is approximately 18-inches long and 14- inches around. Delivery: Item 0001: 3 EA in 30 days after receipt of reparable assets. The approximate solicitation issue date is 29 Mar 2007 and the estimated solicitation response date will be 30 APR 2007.
