- The USAF Test Pilot School (TPS) at Edwards AFB CA intends to solicit and award a sole source, Cost-Plus Fixed Fee contract to Lockheed Martin Corporation. Engineering, Documentation and Logistical support is required for the Variable Stability In-Flight Simulator Test Aircraft (VISTA), NF-16D, and the general support fleet F-16 aircraft utilized in support of the USAF TPS. Support requirements include: basic F-16 engineering support, documentation support to include VISTA/F-16 Time Compliance Technical Order (TCTO) support, and logistical support. Potential respondents must show they have complete access, control and usage rights to Lockheed Martin Corp proprietary data required for this proposed contract. Potential offerors interested in this requirement must submit a complete technical capability package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government?s requirement. Technical packages shall be limited to 15 pages and shall include as a minimum, 1) evidence of past experience; and 2) related projects and/or existing systems being maintained. Anticipated award date is 1 Aug 07 with contract performance beginning 1 Oct 07. Potential offerors must submit their technical capability packages to the Directorate of Contracting, Bldg 2800, 412 TW/PKDB no later than 13 Apr 07, 4:00 pm local time. This sources sought notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will consider all responses received before the due date in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement and is not to be considered a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for any information provided under this notice. Emailed technical packages are acceptable. Telephone requests to be placed on a mailing list will not be considered.
