- The VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System (ECHCS ), Denver, CO and VISN 19 Rocky Mountain Network Contracting Center contemplates an award of a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Quantity Contract for sterilization of dental instruments. The proposed contract will be issued for a commercial firm fixed price contract type. The period of performance for this contract will be one year, with additional four, one-year option periods, from date of award. This is a synopsis for sterilization of dental instruments for the Colorado Springs and Pueblo Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). Dental instruments shall be delivered to the Contractor for sterilization by VA ECHCS contracted couriers. Contractor shall sterilize instruments and prepare them for pickup by VA ECHCS couriers. The place of performance will be CBOC, 25 North Spruce, Colorado Springs, CO 80905, and CBOC, 4112 Outlook Blvd., Pueblo, CO 81008. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award will be based on best value to include past performance. Request for Proposal VA-259-07-RP-0049 will be available for download on or about 23 March 2007. No telephone requests for this solicitation will be allowed. Offers are to be received at the VA Rocky Mountain Health Network, VISN 19 Consolidated Contracting Center, 4100 E. Mississippi Ave., Suite 1110, Glendale, CO 80246, no later than 13 April 2007, 4:00 PM Mountain Time. The NAICS Code is 622110. Additional Requirements: The contractor shall be required to meet the standards of the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Hospital Organizations (JCAHO), and shall be able to show satisfactory proof of ability to perform in accordance with JCAHO standards prior to award.
