- Description
- The United States Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for a service to open, inspect, report, and possible overhaul of NSN 4320-01-073-9385, Rotary Pump, 46123R253, qty 3 each. Manufacturer: Philadelphia Gear Corp., 2600 Imperial Highway, Lynwood, CA 90262. Repairs shall be accomplished in accordance with ELC overhaul description. Delivery shall be F.O.B. Destination, USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room Bldg. 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226. It is anticipated that a sole source purchase order will be awarded to Philadelphia Gear Corp. It is the Government?s belief that only Philadelphia Gear Corp. or their authorized repair facilities can perform overhauls. Interested sources that possess the capabilities of obtaining the required technical, engineering and manufacturing data for Philadelphia Gear Corp. Scott and possess the capabilities of overhauling the above item can submit information regarding capabilities. This information must include (1) complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics), 2) data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily overhauled for the government or the original equipment manufacturer. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. Request for Quotation (RFQ) HSCG40-07-Q-50036 shall be available for download from FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) on or about March 14, 2007. Quotations are due March 22, 2007 and it is anticipated that award will be made by March 31, 2007. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the EPS systems for changes or amendments to the quotation.
