Description

This is an amendment to the special notice posted 22 January 2007 - 26 February 2007 for Remote Operations Video Enhanced Receiver (ROVER). The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) intends to negotiate a five-year, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), sole source contract with L-3 Communication Systems-West (L-3 West), 640 North 2200 West, Salt Lake City, UT 84116 for sustainment and limited procurement of ROVER III systems. The sustainment ordering period is five (5) years and the ordering period for procurement of ROVER III systems is two (2) years. The authority cited for this procurement is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The contract provides for the ancillary equipment, spare parts, training, and associated logistics, to include long-term warranties, of ROVER III systems. The contract also provides for limited procurement of ROVER III systems (two (2) year ordering period). Note 22 applies. ALL QUESTIONS AND COMMUNICATIONS MUST BE CONDUCTED VIA E-MAIL. THERE WILL BE NO RESPONSE TO TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION AND/OR QUESTIONS.
