Description

The US Geological Survey intends to award a noncompetitive purchase order to Iron Mountain/Oil Data of Houston, TX for data transcription and reformatting services (nine-track magnetic tape to modern digital media). The data is proprietary to Chevron, Inc. and the identified source is their data storage contractor. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302. Delivery will be FOB Destination to Menlo Park, CA. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, but interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement to the Contracting Officer by e-mail (rdonez@usgs.gov) no later than the response date shown in this announcement.
