Description
CERDEC Fort Monmouth is seeking interested sources for a common processor upgrade for the CP-1895 and CP-1597 Digital Processors which are part of the AN/APR-39A/B Family of Radar Signal Detecting Sets (RSDSs). System spcifications are available, but no technical data package including software source code and level III drawings are available at this time. The processor shall be at least 300 Megahertz and its respect ive Operstional Flight Program (OFP) written in a higher level software language. The processor shall support all the mechancial and electrical interffaces the legacy AN/APR-39A/B RSDSs currently supported. These include but are not limited to the following: AN/AAR-47 Missile Warning Set, AN/ALE-47 Countermeasures Dispenser, AH-64D & AH-1Z Mission Computers, AN/AVR-2 Laser Detecting Set, AN/APR-44 Continuous Wave Radar Detection Set, AN/ALQ-213 Electronic Warfare Mangement System (EWMS),RS-422 & MIL-STD-1553 Databus Communicationand rapid reporogramming terminal (RR T) interfaces. Potential sources must be able to clearly demonstrate the enhanced processor performance capability, and system interface conformance within a 12 months period with minimal U.S. Government (USG) technical oversight and test equipment. Sorces shall also clearly show they have the Software/Hardware Engineering Facilities cleared up to the Secret levewl including Radio Frequency (RF) Simiulators needed to meet the USG requirements.
