Description
The New Mexico Army National Guard (NMARNG) has a requirement for Food Preparation and Mess Attendant Services. This acquisition is reserved for HubZone small business concerns; however, the Government is accepting quotes from small business concerns . In the even of insufficient Hubzone small business concern participation, award will be made to a participating small business. The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, and any items and services necessary to perform the service. The cont ractor's responsibility shall include, but not limited to, preparing and serving food; cleaning facilities, equipment, and utensils; handling supplies and equipment; maintaining quality control of contractor provided services, and in the event of cont inge ncy, perfo rm all required tasks to ensure continued service. The estimated number of personnel being served will be 300. They will be fed 3 times a day during the 14 day training cycle. These training cycles will be separated by 7 day cycles. There ma y be periods of time in which the contractor will provide services during an entire 5 week stretch without any down days. The government will provide all food items. Contractor will coordinate with government mess attendant on menu requirements. Government will be responsible to order and account for food items. The contract will be for a basic period of 12 months with two one year options. The NAIC is 722310. The solicitation will be available on or about 7th of March with a closing date for prop osals du e by the 30rd of March, 2007. The solicitation will be posted on the Army Single Face to Industry at http://acquisition.army.mil. The government award will be based on the best value with the evaluation factors to be set forth in the solicitatio n. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal on this solicitation must be registered in the CCR database, in accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004. Lack of registration in the CCR database will made an offeror ineligible for award. The web site for CCR r egistration is www.ccr.gov. All offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation from this website and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the solicitation. Failure to repond to electronically posted solicitation s and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipts of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of the same.
