- The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions received from vendors. 1. Do you have a manufacture to reference for the Model ST-3T Hydrostatic Tractor? -The government is not seeking a specific manufacturer for the item. It is the up to the vendor to submit a solution that meets the listed requirements. 2. Are you able to provide the job application and/or use characteristic for this tractor? -This is a specialized piece of equipment that will be used in and around the urban interface during wildland and prescribed fire events because it has the capability of traversing wetter areas as opposed to our 4 wheel drive engines. The machine will be equipped with a 300/400 gallon water tank with specialized hand tools, etc. The machine should be capable of working in areas that require a lower ground pressure than your typical wildland equipment.
