- Solicitation RFP672-579-06 for Billing and Third party Collection Services at VA Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, Puerto Rico due date had been extended from the original respond due date Thursday March 15, 2007 to Monday March 19, 2007 at 2:30 PM Atlantic/Puerto_Rico time. All Questions submitted timely by the interested offerors were answered by the technical team as applicable. The time for question submission is past due. No more questions will be accepted. Please refer to solicitation amendment number 3 for further information. There will be no public bid opening on the due date. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions; therefore, the offeror shall submit the most favorable terms and technical information with their offer. Solicitation packages will not be accepted via facsimile. Offerors shall go to Fedbizopps web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ to download the solicitation package including the attachments and/or amendments to the solicitation. In case of time extension of the solicitation due date, the CO will be extending the time, via amendment to the solicitation, which all interested offerors shall be responsible to verify at Fedbizopps web site, for changes or amendments done to the solicitation prior the solicitation due date. Each offeror shall acknowledge receipt of each amendment, submitting each amendment with their offer attention to the CO at Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, Procurement Business Division, Tres Ríos Building - San Patricio, #27 Ave. J. González Giusti Suite 600, Guaynabo, PR 00968 by the solicitation due date. POC will be Mr. Rey F. Clemente, Contracting Officer (CO) tel. Current contract information required by the interested offerors will be disclosed under Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), in accordance with 38 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1.553(b). FOIA request shall be addressed attention to Ms. Kiomara Bonilla, Privacy Officer, Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, 10 Calle Casia, San Juan, PR 00921-3201. All requests shall be in writing by any firm or person, including Requestor's signature, sender address and print name. Copy of FOIA request may be faxed to the CO for tracking purposes only, but all follow up shall be done with the Privacy Officer. Each request shall reasonably describe the records, so that they may be located with a reasonable amount of effort. Also each FOIA Requestor shall states their willingness to pay applicable fees or provide justification to support a fee waiver. A day time telephone number is required. All envelopes and correspondence must state Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Request.
