- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI). The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) is seeking input from industry on the draft requirements for the Near Shore Lifeboat (NLB). We are seeking interest, capability, exisiting contracting vehicles (GSA) applicability, comments on the draft requirements and pricing information. There is no bid package or soliciation document associated with this announcement. This RFI does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that a procurement action will be issued. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Govenrment will arise as a result of the submission of contractor's information. The Government shall not be liable for or suffer any consequential damages for proprietary information not properly identified. Proprietary information will be safeguarded in accordance with the applicable Government regulations. Please submit information via email to LCDR Mike DaPonte at Michael.J.DaPonte@uscg.mil no later than 5:00pm EST on 22 March 2007. Firms who wish to respond to this RFI should include their business size, CAGE code, Dun and Bradstreet number and GSA schedule contract number, should they hold one.
