Description

PRESOLICITATION NOTICE: The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has a requirement to create a research database to capture information on dietary supplement labels, so as to include virtually all dietary supplements sold in the United States. Congressional language directed ODS to develop this concept so as to allow researchers and the public access to dietary supplement label information. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all necessary management, personnel, equipment, materials and supplies, not otherwise furnished by the Government. This acquisition is being solicited using full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 541511. The Government anticipates award of a fixed-price, indefinite delivery (requirements) type contract. The resultant contract shall be for a period of one year commencing on or about June 1, 2007 and include four successive 12-month option periods. Solicitation number 263-2006-P(GI)-0112 will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities website, http://www.fbo.gov/, on or about March 22, 2007. The closing date for receipt of proposals is April 20, 2007. All future information regarding this acquisition, including amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. Interested firms are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any) and monitoring the web site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition.
