- Description
- The Mendocino National Forest has a requirement for road blading of Forest Service roads on the Grindstone, Upper Lake and Covelo Ranger Districts. Project work consists of shaping the existing crown or slope of the roadbed, turnouts, and shoulder; repairing existing berm; pulling ditches; removing surface irregularities, potholes and washboards; removing oversize rocks, limbs and debris; removing minor slides (up to 5 cubic yards); blending approaching road intersections; cleaning drainage dips and lead off ditches; and removal of trees less than 3-inch dbh that encroach into the road bed. Contract will be an Indefinite Quantity, Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) with a minimum of 100 miles of road blading and a maximum of 350 miles of road blading. Contract performance period will be twelve (12) months from date of award. The small business size for this procurement is $6.5 million. This solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quotations under commercial procedures. The solicitation is estimated to be issued on or about March 22 with a due date of April 9, 2007.
