- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue an RFQ for Regional Medical Advisor (RMA) services. The RMA combines clinical medical knowledge with administrative, management, leadership and teaching skills to identify and assist in the resolution of issues or problems arising in the SSA disability program. There will be no contract with patients. The period of performance will be one year from the date of award, with provision for the inclusion of four one-year option periods. It is the intent of this office to issue RFQ SSA-RFQ-07-1332 on March 22, 2007 for these services. It will be posted on this web site. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Proposals received from other than small businesses will be deemed unacceptable and will be given no further consideration. All interested offerors should get a copy of the RFQ from this web site and if there are any questions, they should be directed to James McDermott at james.mcdermott@ssa.gov no later than 15 days after the RFQ is released. Requests for copies of the RFQ will not be honored or acknowledged.
