Description

U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) anticipates contracting with Rockwell Collins Inc, Government Systems, 400 Collins Rd NE, Cedar Rapids IA 52498-0001 for Armament System Processor Panel (ASPP) utilized on the MH-60M aircraft part number 822-0589-001 fielded for USSOCOM. The proposed action will be solicited as a contract for supplies which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.1. Firms that recognize and can provide the supplies are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for a competitive proposal; however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date IAW FAR 5.203 (a). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industrial Classification Code is 336413; the business size is 1000 employees. The estimated release date of the solicitation is 12 Mar 2007. You may request a copy via e-mail to awatson@tapo.eustis.army.mil. The purchase will be FOB Origin as a commercial buy under FAR Part 12. See Note 22 and 26.
