- NASA/GRC has a requirement for an Oscilloscope that meets the following minimum requirements: Bandwidth: 3.5 GHz Sample rate: Real time 10 GS/sec sample rate on each channel, 40 GS/sec sample rate on one channel Storage: 100 M sample points per channel, 400 M sample points on a single channel. Sample point is 8 bit /sample. Probe input: Switchable 50 Ohm/ 1M Ohm input probe Glitch trigger: 200 ps Triggering: Support I2C, SPI, RS232 and CAN Waveform capture rate: 250,000 waveforms/sec for all channels Processor: 3.4 GHz Pentium 4 Viewable: 12.1 inch XGA touch screen display Hard drive: Removable 80 GB hard drive Logic analyzer connection: Connecting to logic analyzer for mixed analog and digital analysis on the Logic Analyzer display through the same probe. NASA/GRC intends to purchase the items from Tektronix Incorporated of Beaverton, Oregon, because they are the only source who can meet the above requirements. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on 03/12/2007. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All communication must be in writing (e-mail is acceptable). All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B".
