- Description
- The Air Force District of Washington Medical Support Branch (AFDW/A7KM) on behalf of the Office of the Surgeon General in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 intends to execute a commercial contract under other than full and open competition. Upon AFDW/A7KM extensive market research throughout CONUS and results of sources sought F1ATA17016A100, intends to negotiate a sole source award to Jackson-Shaw Company the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel at 3900 Paradise Road, Suite 101, Las Vegas, NV, a Non-gaming conference hotel facility. This requirement is for conference facilities to support the 2007 Air Force Worldwide Substance Abuse ADAPT/DDR Conference(estimated 450 attendees), to include incidental Other Direct Costs, to support AFMOA/SGOF. The Air Force Worldwide Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Treatment(ADAPT)/Drug Demand Reduction (DDR) conference provides training and guidance to 450 program personnel in substance abuse, drug testing, policy, and program management. The period of performance is April 29 - 05 May 2007. The contractor shall provide conference facilities, reception area, meeting space (i.e. approx. 20,000 sq.ft), 1 banquet room, 1 reception area, 9 meeting rooms, 1 office, and administrative support to include internet access, copier reproduction, and faxes, over the span of seven consecutive days/nights. The contractor shall provide audio/visual services for the conference, and the necessary equipment, technical assistance. Interested sources capabilities must include ability to house 450 attendees for maximum of 7 nights in a Non-gaming conference hotel facility.
