- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Hampton, Virginia intends to solicit a commercial item procurement for Wheelchair Van Services to beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) 100 Emancipation Drive, Hampton, VA 23667. Contractor shall furnish all personnel and equipment to provide Wheelchair Van Services, in accordance with all existing Federal, State and Local Regulations, 12-hours a day Sunday through Saturday 6:00AM to 6:00PM to include holidays. A total of five (5) vehicles shall be required to fulfill this contract. This is a proposed contract action for services for which the government intends to solicit as a 100% Small Business set-aside. The NAICS code is 485991, $6.0M. The procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 15. This requirement is subject to the availability of FY07 funds. Solicitation documents may be obtained electronically at: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov or http://www2.fbo.gov. Award will be made to the offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award without discussions. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct discussions later if determined necessary by the Contracting Officer. Proposals shall be submitted to: Hampton VAMC, 100 Emancipation Drive, Bldg. 27, Supply, Hampton, Virginia, 23667, and directed to the attention of Alice L. Eaddy. Solicitation number shall be listed on the outside of responses for identification purposes. Proposals must be received by 4:00 P.M., April 6, 2007 Eastern Standard Time (EST).
