- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award, to a responsible quoter for the provision of Bread Products for the Federal Correctional Complex, Petersburg, 1060 River Road, Hopewell, Virginia 23060. The contract period shall consist of a base period from date of award through 12 months, and two one-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. The successful contractor shall provide Bread Products consistent with community standards. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) code is 311812, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Products will be delivered to a Federal Correctional Complex. Yearly contract requirements include an estimated (1) 85,000 loaves of White Bread, (2) 75,000 loaves of Whole Wheat Bread, (3) 20,000 packages of Hamburger Buns, (4) 15,000 packages of Hot Dog Buns, (5) 15,000 packages of Hoagie Rolls, (6) 7,000 loaves of Whole Wheat Bread that is Kosher Pareve, (7) 7,000 loaves of White Bread that is Kosher Pareve, (8) 4,000 loaves of Rye Bread, and (9) 10,000 packages of Dinner Rolls. The solicitation will be made available on or about March 19, 2007, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. This solicitation is unrestricted and all responsible business sources are encouraged to submit a quote which will be considered. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about March 30, 2007. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations can submit offers/bids equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
