- Description
- The Ohio Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) project consists of a consolidation of five Navy Operational Support Centers (NOSC) in Ohio: Akron, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus and Toledo. This acquisition will encompass a base year of 12 months and four 12-month option periods, for a total of five years. Using ?best value to the government? selection evaluation will be based on: (1) both technical and price considerations; (2) small business firms servicing the Ohio area. The scope of work will include but may not be limited to the following: *Monthly HVAC preventative maintenance *Seasonal start-ups and shutdowns *Direct Digital Controls calibration and maintenance (Honeywell and others) *Fire Protection ? fire sprinkler pump equipment (NOSC Columbus only) *Boilers, UPV *Compressed Air System *Emergency IDIQ repairs as required The performance period assumes award of contract on May 01, 2007 and completion of work on April 30, 2012.
