- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole-source basis with Chase Supply, Inc. 4805 Market Dr., Newport News, VA 23607 for the procurement of two (2) PN UA-7T, Vertical Module Nitrogen Servicing Charge Carts. These carts have a six (6) bottle capacity and the individual modules can be charged separately. Additionally, the maintainer may remove the individual module, perform required maintenance and reinstall. These carts are developed on an approved design specifically for Boeing commercial aircraft. The E-6B is a 707 variant. The unit contains a unique manifold control system utilizing a cartridge valve design which allows for quick and easy repairs. NAWCADLKE intends to procure under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. Chase Supply, Inc. is the only manufacturer of the Vertical Module N2 Charge Cart, PN UA-7T. The Government does not own the specifications, drawings or data rights. This synopsis is not a request for competitive proposals. Companies interested in providing an offer must be able to demonstrate in writing, by 20 March 2007, their capability to provide this equipment. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not pay for any information received.
