- Description
- This contract provides for the control and eradication of target vegetative growth, through the application of chemical herbicides on specified areas at six locks and dams. Work shall consist of furnishing all necessary equipment, labor, materials an d herbicides, necessary to accomplish the specified vegetative control and eradication. The herbicide application shall be timed during the active growing season so as to achieve the optimum results, except in cases where the label recommends a dormant tre atment. The active growing season is a period between 1 May and 30 July each year. All herbicide applications shall be consistent with the product label instructions, manufacturer's guidance and the requirements of this contract.
