- ****ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO SUDIE BRISTER. NO EMAIL OR TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Requests for solicitation will be by Data Fax (256) 876-7735 or mailed to, ATTN: AMSAM-AC-CH-A, Sudie Brister, Contract Specialist. This requirement is for NSN: 5330-01-115-7244, P/N: 145DS024-11, Quantity: 150 each minimum/550 each maximum. The proposed contractual action will be a Five Year, Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Qu antity (IDIQ) type contract, applicable to CH-47, delivery to Tracy, CA and Texarkana, TX. Required delivery is at a rate of 150 each, 100 Days after Contract Award (DACA). This item is restricted to BOEING (CAGE 77272) and SKF USA INC (CAGE 80201) becau se this part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current DOD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to pe rmit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Although, by DOD STD-100 definition, altered and selected items shall have an adequate technical data package, dat a review discloses that required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redst one.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Qualification Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent up on the date of release for solicitation, however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitations must be processed through their respective embassies. SEE NOTES 23 and 26.
