Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A faxed copy of this Request for Quote as contained herein will be provided to all requestors. Quotes are being requested a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation i s issued as a Best Value Lowest Price Technically Acceptable request for quote (RFQ) W9124B-07-T-0012 using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the Test Program at Subpart 13.5. The Government intends to award to the responsible offeror(s) whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the government based on the Best Value Lowest Price Technically Acceptable offer for the requirement in accordance with the scope of work. Technical acceptable criteria are the service requi rements as listed in the scope of work. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2004-25. This procurement is set side for Total Small Business and is under North American Industry Classification Standards (NAICS) code 484220 Size standard is $6 Million. IN THE EVENT OF NEEDED REPAIRS RESPONSE TIME SHALL BE WITHIN 4 HOURS AFTER NOTIFICATION IF MADE BY 4:30 PM OR 0600 IF NOTIFICATION IS MADE AFTER 5:00 PM. REQUIREMENT DESCRIPTION: Operation Sand Castle FY07 Requirement #7, (Water Trucks) Provide 4 (four) 4K gallon Water Trucks to supply potable water FOB Life support functions. The 4K water trucks must be delivered and operational no later than (NLT) 3 April 2007, and picked up 8 June 2007. The 4K water trucks are to be delivered to Natio nal Training Center (NTC) Forward Operating Base (FOB) Endeavor GRID NU30559758. Your offer should include delivery, setup, pickup, parts and equipment, servicing/repairs/liability insurance/fuel. Contractor must ensure water trucks fuel is topped off pr ior to delivery to FOB.
