- For over 50 years Edwards Air Force Base has been distinguished by more major milestones in flight than any other place on earth. Covering nearly 301,000 acres, Edwards is located in the Mojave Desert, adjacent to Rogers Dry Lakebed. Even though remote, Edwards is home to military and their families, as well as employer to over 8,000 civilian employees. What can todays sophisticated teen do in the middle of the desert? The Edwards AFB Teen Center regulary meets the needs of military dependants while they are making Edwards their home. This event touches a specific demographic of youth and young military. If you are looking for an opportunity to raise customer awareness of your company with this exclusive youth and young military demographic, then this event is for you. Sponsorship is fundamental to the success of this event. Edwards AFB invites you to join in supporting the moral, welfare and recreation of our military and their dependents by becoming a commercial sponsor for the Haunted House. Sponsorship may take the form of monetary or in-kind contributions. In appreciation for your sponsorship, your company will receive public recognition and exposure. The level of exposure is determined by the level of sponsorship, with all sponsors prominently acknowledged throughout the event. Sponsor exposure may include name and logo recognition on all event print media, including posters, signage, and banners, brochures, pictures and media coverage. More than one sponsor may be accepted and additives will be considered. Request for copies of this solicitation must be received no later than 07 Dec 2007. All offers will be considered. Unfortunately we will not be able to accept offers for sponsorship from any contractor, including their affiliates, subcontract arrangements, teaming partners, or join venture partners who are currently or intending to participate in any solicitation issued by the Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) or who will involve AFFTC requirements of $100,00 or more. If your company meets these criteria, we request that you do not submit a sponsorship offer thereby eliminating the need for rejection by the government. This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship by a non appropriated funds instrumentality of the United States Government and does not obligate appropriated funds of the Government.
