- The VA VISN 22 Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach California intends to enter into a sole source contract with Cardinal Health, 1430 Waukegan Rd., McGraw Park, IL 60085, under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-15 (addendum), a justification for other than full and open competition have been prepared in support of this acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 339112 and the Small Business Standard is 500 employees. Request for Proposal is VA-600-07-RP-0051LG. The Government intends to award a contract for the lease of two (2) ETI-MAX 3000; a fully automated analyzer system and consumable supplies, for the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) Pathology and Laboratory Services. The Contractor shall furnish all necessary and appropriate labor, materials, equipment, and supplies specified herein to perform in accordance to the contract specifications. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will consider all proposals received by 1:00 PM Pacific Standard Time March 16, 2007. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
