- This is a notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source contract for service under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 to sponsor the attendance of 20 participants to attend the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS) Training. Training is being sponsored by IACIS, PO Box 1728 Fairmont, WV, 26555. Participation at the IACIS Training is being procured under FAR 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Training is to be held in Orlando FL on April 23, 2007 through May 5, 2007. The above named vendor is believed to be the only source for this training. This specialized training is a requirement to obtain Computer Forensic Training and Certification. This Notice of Intent is NOT a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Interested parties may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform this effort in writing (electronically) to Debra E. Chapman at dchapman@fbiacademy.edu. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
